| Sunday School is the main focus of our Parish's Christian education. We have classes for all ages of children, three through high school, and three adult classes.
All classes meet from
10:30 until 11:15 a.m. Child care for infants and toddlers is
available every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in our preschool classroom in the
Parish House.
It is never too late to join a Sunday School class...we always have openings!
For the youth,
Catechesis of the Good Shephard is for ages three through Kindergarten and is taught by Mary
Newell and Suzy Jones. Grades one through three are taught by John Machen, Grades four and five have
Barbara Van Emmerik as teachers, and students in sixth through eighth grades are taught by Cindy Machen. High
Schoolers are led by Lynn May. All children and youth
classes meet in our Rectory building (the white residential-looking
structure in front of our Parish House).
For adults, three classes are offered,
a Women's Bible study course that follows the Living the Good News
curriculum, a men's Bible study class that follows a scripturally
based lesson, and a more informal contemporary issues
group. The Women's and Men's classes meet every Sunday morning in the
Rectory , and the Contemporary group meets in the Parish House
library.
