Heidi has a Masters Degree in Child Care Administration from Nova University in Florida and her B.A. degree from Christopher Newport University with a major in Art and a minor in Psychology. She spent 22 years in the Mental Health field as a Director of in-patient and residential unit for Children and Adolescents. Her responsibilities included program development, supervision of staff and oversight and development of the school program. Currently, Heidi works for the center for Child and Family Services. She is director of Program Development for youth services. Her responsibilities include program development for PATTS (Peaceful Alternatives to Tough Situations) Anger Management, SAVY (Students Against Violent Youth)-bully proofing and Care Club for preschools promoting pro-social behavior preparing them for academic excellence. Heidi resides in Redart with her husband Warren and her 10-year-old daughter Hillary. They own Callis Creek Farm, where they enjoy their three horses. They spent most weekends participating in Pony Club activities and horse show.
 

Lee Thompson

Lee attended Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, Connecticut and received her Associates Degree in Science in 1976. Her curriculum was one in Early Childhood Education. Lee has taught preschool for a total of six years. In Monroe, CT she was a teacher for a 3-4 year old combined program and was instrumental in developing the program. In Seattle, WA she taught 3-year-olds for Childrens World, where she developed the curriculum for the program. She has also taught at Westville Preschool where she taught and developed the program for 4-year-olds. She is currently the Youth Coordinator for Kingston Parish. Lee is the upcoming PTA President at Thomas Hunter Middle School and is on the 6-year planning committee for Mathews County Schools. Lee has been a resident of Mathews County for 14 years. She and her husband Scott reside in North with their 11-year-old daughter Chandler. All family members are active in the community.
