We hold a Family Eucharist service each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (10:30 a.m. during the summer) which is abbreviated and less formal. The family service is held at our Parish House on Main Street in Mathews.

Young families are encouraged to bring their children, who are invited by our Rector up to the altar for stories and to participate in the Holy Eucharist ceremony. The service is less formal than our regular services, a bit more noisy, and occasionally more chaotic, just like our children! Parents are encouraged to relax and enjoy the service.

The family service is a special time where God's love can be seen in the faces of our young ones. Many parishioners whose children have long ago left the nest prefer this service for its innocence and purity.

The family service is preceeded each week by a light breakfast and fellowship in our kitchen next to the main hall in the Parish House.
